WELCOME to the University of Manitoba FACULTY ASSOCIATION!

The University of Manitoba Faculty Association (UMFA) is the certified bargaining agent for approximately 1,170 full-time academics, including librarians, at the University of Manitoba. We and the administration at the University of Manitoba negotiate the provisions of the Collective Agreement, which can be found on this website. As a future Member of UMFA, you will find in it information on terms and conditions of your employment, including your rights and responsibilities.

Also available on our website is a New Hires Manual which may also answer many questions you have regarding your new position.
