UMFA 2010 Annual General Meeting
UMFA held its Annual General Meeting on Thursday, May 13, 2010. The meeting was well-attended at Marshall McLuhan Hall.
A highlight of the meeting was an update by Robert Chernomas on the current round of bargaining. Incoming UMFA President Cameron Morrill also provided information regarding the pension regulations amendments. The 2009-2010 Financial Statements were presented to the Members, as well as the 2010-2011 Budget.
Tom Booth was on hand to accept the Roy Vogt Award for Exceptionally Meritorious Service. The Paul Fortier Prize for Student Activism was awarded to Sid Rashid and Peter Karari. UMFA Members and guests stayed following the meeting for a reception to honour the award recipients and to mingle with colleagues.

Incoming President Cameron Morrill and Past-President Brenda Austin-Smith thanked Brad McKenzie for his dedication as UMFA President during the past year.
